The Struggle is Real

Some of you may recall a Facebook post from a few weeks ago that went like this. “Ok, Day 1 of a 21-day plan. So far, so good. The most aggressive DBeazy One-Man-Think-Tank plan to date. Gonna be a WHISPER of MY FORMER SELF!”

So I admit that this particular “21-day plan” may have been a little too aggressive for this time of year. That and the fact that I am a “weak vessel” caused my “21-day plan” to TOTALLY derail within about 3 days. I mean, can I tell you, one motivating factor became a non-factor, and my body said, “screw this,” and that was that.

Now you may have seen my biscuit post and my dressing post, but I never mentioned that the ONLY water I have consumed since then was either in Diet Coke, Beer, Bourbon, Whiskey, or water absorbed when brushing my teeth. I also never mentioned the “grilling” phase I went through where I was grilling every day for a while. Snacks, ah man, can we talk. cakes, Cheetos, pop tarts, and bread. Lots of bread.

Anyway, you get the picture. Gravy, oh lord, let’s not forget the gravy. Yeah, so here we are. And this is what I have to say about all of that.

“Might as well wait until 2020 now!”

Come 2020, it’s on. Gonna be a Whisper of my former self in 2020.
